February 2012 Meeting.

Thanks so much to Barbara W. for doing a great program on how to make a dress form for Ann Estelle. It was very interesting and a great idea.  Also a big thank you for making the outfit for our Harry Potter display it will be a great addition.

Thanks also to Bonnie who brought in yummy refreshments for everyone. We all hope Pamela's back will be better soon.

Ann Estelle had a great time for Valentines. She dressed up for the occasion and even brought a date. Great Job everyone on the outfits.

We took names for everyone interested in riding in the van to the doll show in Nashville March 24th. If you did not sign up but are interested in going please email Sonya.

Next month we will hopefully be able to get Liz Kennedy to put on her program for the Nancy Ann storybook dolls.

January 2012 Meeting.

We had a Daisy invasion at our last meeting. Betty, Ann and Amy brought in their Daisys to share with the club.  The club got to see how very different each Daisy was even through they were the same mold number.   Betty brought in several examples of  dresses made from the original Daisy pattern. It was such a fantastic learning experience.

Our members brought in their Christmas goodies.  Mandy brought her new Harry Potter dolls in with a little Draco.  And Barbara G brought in her trunk set she found full of original clothes.  Barbara W. brought in her recent auction finds. She found a wonderful Hilda  that we were all very excited to see in person. And she found a possible Madame Alexander and a Martha Thompson set of Little Women dolls. Sonya brought in her new Jumeau reproduction that she made at Bonnies.

It was a very fun meeting with lots to look at. I just love our show & tell meetings. Ann had dresses up to play in the snow. Our members did such a great job as always in dressing her up. There were such cute displays.

A big thank you to Carla who brought in the refreshments. Everything was excellent.

Doll Show 2012

I have booked the Jaycee Building for our 2012 doll show. It will be Saturday August 11, 2012.

Fun Time at our Christmas Party!!

A big thank you to Mandy for letting us meet in her house.  She did a great job decorating for the Holidays.  Everyone brought such fantastic food. I love it when we get together and I can try all the new dishes.

We had some great Ann gifts. This year's I think were some of the best and most creative. There were a lot of Bonnie and Sandy Christmas outfits being worn and given as gifts!!
