February Meeting.

We had a fun time at our Raggedy Ann theme meeting. Mandy gave a very informative program on Raggedy Ann and her history. She brought in several to display to the club spanning several years of production including some very loved dolls from her own childhood.

Our Ann Estelle's brought in several of their own little Rag dolls and some had fun dressing up as Raggedy Ann and Andy.

Ponchatoula Louisiana Trip Lunch At Kathleen's.

A big thank you to Kathleen for hosting a lunch to discuss our Ponchatoula trip. Kathleen welcomed members of the doll club into her beautiful house and graciously provided lunch with delicious desserts. Best part we got to see her dolls! Her dolls were displayed in very creative ways with adorable props. A big surprise for the club was the massive hand made Ginny house. Each room was expertly decorated and full of little details. Each time you look at the house you see something new. Photos of the house are below.

Our trip to Ponchatoula is being planned. Our tentative dates are June 8-12. We are trying to see as much as we can with trips to several museums and also antique shops and private dealers. Not to mention the 1,000 dolls that we get to spend the week with. This will be an exciting trip and any member who wishes to go should contact Pamela asap so we can get a head count. The club is providing the van and its only $150 to stay plus additional $ for food, admissions and of course dolls.
